Cookies and local storage
What we store in your browser, why, and how to remove it.

Summary
Ventradoes not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics services, and we do not share what we store with ad networks. We also don't set any cookies of our own.
Instead we use your browser's local storage — the same rules apply to it as to cookies. Everything we store falls into two groups, listed in full below: storage that the product needs in order to work, and storage used to measure how the product is used.
Essential storage
These keep the service working — holding your draft profile, restoring your results, and carrying your purchase through Stripe checkout and back. Without them, features you have asked for would break.

Analytics storage
These help us see which parts of the product work and which don't. The identifier is random and is not linked to your name or email address, and the events are also recorded on our servers — see the Analytics section of our Privacy Policy.

Third-party storage
When you pay, checkout is handled on Stripe's own pages, and Stripe may set its own cookies there to process the payment and prevent fraud. That is governed by Stripe's privacy policy. We do not embed advertising, social media, or third-party analytics scripts on our own pages.
How to clear it
You can remove everything above at any time by clearing site data for Ventrain your browser settings — in most browsers, via the padlock icon in the address bar, then “Cookies and site data”. Clearing it will sign you out of any purchase access session and discard your saved grants and draft profile.
Clearing local storage stops further analytics events being linked to that identifier, but does not delete events already recorded on our servers. To have those deleted, email support@ventraonline.uk.
