Terms of Service
By using Ventra, you agree to these terms.

About the service
Ventra is operated by Ventra, an independent UK research and matching platform. We help businesses discover funding opportunities and prepare application guidance through our Application Prep Pack feature. We are not affiliated with any government department or funding body.
Informational use only
Ventra provides research, matching, and drafting assistance. All outputs — including fit scores, eligibility summaries, readiness assessments, and suggested application wording — are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice.
No guarantee of funding
We do not guarantee that you will qualify for, receive, or be approved for any grant, loan, or support scheme. Funding decisions are made solely by the relevant provider. A high fit score or positive readiness assessment does not imply approval.
Verify eligibility yourself
You are responsible for confirming all eligibility requirements, deadlines, amounts, and application procedures with the official funding body before applying. Ventra summaries may be incomplete or out of date. Always rely on the provider's own published guidance.
Application Prep Pack purchases
Application Prep Pack is a one-time purchase that unlocks tailored application preparation for a specific grant match — including eligibility checklists, document lists, draft answers, and next steps. Content is generated as a starting point — you must review, edit, and verify all content before submission.
Grant Monitor subscription
Grant Monitor is a recurring subscription costing £5 per month, billed through Stripe. It renews automatically each month until you cancel, and the same amount is taken on each renewal. There is no minimum term.
The subscription re-runs matching against the business profile you gave us and emails you new strong matches and grants that are closing soon. It is an email service, not a live dashboard, and we cannot promise a specific number of opportunities in any given week — what we send depends on what funders actually publish and on what fits your profile.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from the Grant Monitor page: enter your checkout email and we will send a secure link to the billing portal, where you can cancel or update your payment details. Cancelling stops future renewals; your subscription continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. You can also cancel by emailing support@ventraonline.uk.
Your 14-day right to cancel. As a consumer you normally have 14 days from subscribing to cancel for a refund. If you ask us to start sending updates during that period, we may charge you a proportionate amount for what you have received. To cancel within the 14 days, contact us using the details above — a clear statement is enough, you do not need a particular form of words.
Your right to cancel (digital content)
Our one-off paid products (the Application Prep Pack, the Top 3 Grant Bundle Pack, and the Eligibility Report) are digital content generated for you and delivered immediately after payment.
As a consumer you normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital content. That right only ends early where you have expressly asked us to begin immediately and acknowledged that you lose the right by doing so. Unless we have asked you for that confirmation and you have given it, your 14-day right to cancel stands, and you can request a refund within that period even though the content has been generated.
None of this affects your legal rights if the content is faulty, not as described, or not delivered — see Refunds below.
Refunds
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you believe a purchase was made in error or the service was unavailable, contact support@ventraonline.uk within 14 days of purchase with your payment reference. We will review requests fairly and respond within five working days. Approved refunds are processed through Stripe to the original payment method.
Service availability
We aim to keep Ventra available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, or due to factors outside our control. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features without notice where reasonably necessary.
Grant data is sourced from official and trusted publications and may not reflect the latest changes immediately. We are not liable for losses arising from outdated information, service downtime, or decisions made based on our outputs.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to circumvent payment, scrape data at scale, or use the platform for unlawful purposes. We may restrict access where we reasonably believe terms have been breached.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ventra is not liable for indirect, consequential, or financial losses resulting from use of the service, including missed deadlines, rejected applications, or reliance on match results. Our total liability for any claim relating to a paid purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
